Eagle Plains Completes Airborne Geophysical Surveys on Kootenay-Area Mineral Projects
British Columbia | April 5, 2004Cranbrook, B.C., 05 April, 2004: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) has recently completed airborne geophysical surveys on six separate mineral projects located in the East Kootenay region of south-eastern British Columbia. The survey was conducted by Geotech Geophysical Ltd., and consisted of airborne magnetometer and time-domain electromagnetic (EM) instrumentation.
The properties subject to the survey are all owned 100% by Eagle Plains, and include Black Diamond (silver, lead, zinc), Wildhorse (copper, gold), Bohan (lead, zinc), Kokanee Creek (gold), Iron Range (copper, gold, silver, lead, zinc) and Sphinx (copper, gold). The total survey program took one week to complete, and consisted of approximately 1,050 line-km of coverage. Eagle Plains expects to receive technical reports for the projects by mid-May, and will use results of the surveys to help guide future exploration of the properties.
